Robin and Mandy Trowbridge from Yeovil have recently
re-opened the Podymore Inn which had been closed for a period of six months. The Podymore is being run as a family pub with the help of daughters Amy and Becky as well as by Amy's partner Matt.

The Podymore Inn is a traditional country pub set in the heart of Somerset, close to the towns of Ilchester and Somerton. The Podymore is easily accessible and can be found approximately a half a mile from the A303 services at The Podimore round about.

We serve homemade traditional pub grub, including hand cut chips. Our food is freshly prepared using the best of local ingredients wherever possible.  Our chef, Russ Smith has run his own pub for many years so brings a wealth of experience and expertise with him.

It is our primary objective to supply our customers with delicious, value for money food and drink served with a smile by our friendly and professional team.

WiFi now available as well as a paddock for overnight
stays for tents and caravans. no toilet facilities although we do have running water and a watse disposal unit.
